can any one tell me in which format we can import a file during role creation?

am having tcodes in one file in my desktop.. i want to assign these tcodes in one single role..
how can i import this file tat..
( if i import text file or xls file it is showing " the file does not contain any valid data")

Hi,

in SAP some files or some data in the files are not recognized by sap application when importing the legacy data into sap database

you need to format the txt file in which sap understands

an ABAPer can help you because usually ABAPer import legacy data using LSMWs and that data from legacy system is converted into sap's identifiable format.
