What to do if the transaction log file is full.

hi,

old student (provide UR name)

if transaction log is full U have to check the
database is in recovery mode full you need to back up the transaction log. This will do the appropriate checkpoints and empty it.
If the database is in recovery mode simple you can simply truncate the transaction log by issue a backup log with truncate only or a backup log with no log...

The command TRUNCATE means remove all the rows in the target table....

Hai,

how can we check the TLOG , SLOG, ...... and how man logs are there.

Tell the TCODE to watch above logs.
