Hi,

To configure extended TMS the procedure is that there are some authorization in the CTS....

If you want to set up your own authorizations, bear in mind that in addition to the CTS authorizations, users also require the following authorizations to work with the extended view of the Transport Organizer:

S_DATASET_AL (for accessing files)
S_C_FUNCT_AL (for calling external programs)
S_TCD_ALL (for calling transactions)

administration functions in the CTO have been safeguarded by a new authorization object called S_CTS_ADMI. The authorization object S_TRANSPRT is used exclusively to safeguard functions that directly change requests and task...

Hi Rukku,

In real life senario, the SAP administrator himself shouldn't have SAP_ALL
just another ID should be created for SAP_ALL & the new ID will be used
after the approval of the SAP dept. head with signed docs. & for really good
reason otherwise no one should have SAL_ALL.

What Mr. naveedahmed has mentioned is very correct & very usefull for real time admins like us .

keep this doc in your HD as you will be needing it as soon as you enter our world :D
