applying patches

chandu according to my knowledge, we cant apply patches to a single client or particular client.
we have to apply patches through 000 client and with the ddic user, actually we have to copy ddic user to some other user and apply patch.
if at all my answer is wrong, anyone can correct my answer.

You are right. We apply patches in 000 clinet using DDIC user(Data dictinary user ) .By doing this we make changes in data dictionary, which is client indepenent.

It must be a user different from DDIC.
