Hi guys,

i would like to know the procedure of deploying of VM ware on linux with ecc6.0/4.7 running. i mean would VMWARE should be installed after linux and again oracle and ECC 6.0. what exactly is procedure.

You need to install vmware on the box, once you install Linux ...

Once you are done with VMWARE installation, you need to install a OS(Windows/Linux). Once you are done with OS installation on VMWare... please go a head and install the SAP software .

If you are cofused above, here is the procedure.


1) Install Linux on system (Redhat)
2) You must configure XWindows - Like gnome, KDE etc.,
3) Configure network
4) Install VMware on the Linux (Redhat)
5) Install OS(Windows/Linux) inside vmware and configure accordingly for SAP requirement
6) Install SAP which ever you way you want (Inside the VMWare OS)
