Hi,
Client Copy will not create a transport request is for local client copy or remote client copy
where as client export will create a transport request which can be imported in any other system independent of the source client whether it is up n running or not.
but in remote and local client copy both the source and the target systems should b up n running till the client copy is completed successfully........

Hi Rukku,
Thanks for the concept that there is no client transport ,
Actually i meant "client export" only but there was a difference in the terminology, as i mistakenly answered the question in the same terms as the question was...

• Remote client copy is done through RFC and it will not create a transport request
• The client export generates transport files, which can be imported into another system thru STMS
• Remote client copy does not require files space at OS level for transports
• Client data is exported into a file at OS level, at any given time, the client data is imported from source to target system
• Remote client copy method is not preferred for large client copy.
• client transport method is preferred for large client copy
