how to create common transport directory in sap level?
why we need to create common transport directory?

You can create a comman transport directory at the time of installation, it will ask the directory path

Hi You can create a transport directory while installing SAP. After installing the TMS, you can share that transport directory. Then it becomes a common transport directory for that domain.
If we create a common transport directory, we can import the transport requests directly from it. All the transport requests store in this directory for that domain. We have to change the path of transport directory of all the clients to common transport directory path.
If i am wrong pls correct it.
