BI 7.0 Configuration with backend r3 and bi basis activities

Hi all,

It would be grateful if anyone could explain or tell about :

what are the configuration steps performed between bi or bw and r/3 system after bi or bw installation?
what a bi basis administrator does (daily activities,performance tuning etc....)?
How to answer if an interviewer asks "what have you done as Bi basis admin ?"

Hi,

In Simple way to understand...........

create the RFCs between R/3 System and the BI System and then

call the transaction code RSA1 in BI System it starts retrieving data from r3 system proceed till completes successfully.

its an easy job for basis consultant

this can b elaborately explained to the interviewer........
