error while installing SOlMAN

Hi Basis Gurus,

I was trying to install SOLMAN and getting error at step 15 of 40 . Iam attaching the logs. Can anyone please help me out.

Hello Buddy,

Plz let us know the details of the installation files.

If the installation files has been copied to ur local disk, then there might be problem with one of the copies, plz check.

Try to copy the dumps once again and re-try the installation since the error message is Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103.

This is one of the option.

You have not disclosed abt the virtual memory allocated, ram, database etc. plz do checks on these areas...u might get some light.

There are spaces in the folder names ....remove the spaces and go with the installation.

Thanks for reply. Iam still facing the installation error problem even after removing spaces in folders as directed by pavan.

Specs are:

1. Installing in VM
2. RAM : 3 GB
3. DB: SQL 2005 , sp2
4. Virtual RAM allocated: 3GB on both C drive and E drive
5. OS: win 2k3 sp2
6. JDK: j2sdk-1_4_2_13
7. HDD space: C drive: 10 GB , E drive: 230 GB

Please suggest.

Dont use j2sdk-1_4_2_13 ...better you use 12 or 14

I am facing a problem while system copy of solman on mssql2005 database, the error is 'Migration Monitor exist with error code page 103', Export Monitor jobs: running 0, waiting 0, completed 30, failed 1, total 32 ; i am using j2re1.4.2_12, on os 2003 server sp1, with 2GB RAM-

Please help me out of this

hi friends,

we got an error while system copy of solman..on os 2003 server, db sql and j2sdk1.4.2_12 at the phase
prepare to export java...
the error was written to log file as...''SEVERE: Error during export of j2ee_cofigentry''

we were able to complete the System copy. I put the 1.2 version of sqljdbc.jar in two places:
\usr\sap\SID\INSTANCE\exe\mssjdbc
\usr\sap\SID\SYS\exe\uc\NTDAM64\mssjdbc
The sqljdbc.jar file was from 10/11/2007 and was 507 K
In my control.xml file I changed everything that was 256 to 1024 also.
and restarted the system copy with old installation...
