I installed 4.7 on my home desktop and im working on tht. now suddenly MMC converted from green to yellow. but still im able to login into the system. whn i chked the system, i came to know tht it is because of abap dumps. whn i tried to delete the abap dumps using sm36 Tcode and click on default scheduling, it is showing the error "error saving job to database". please tell me the way to solve this problem.

In my previous post i mentioned tht im unable to delete the abap dumps and unable to schedule the background job. One of my friend suggested me to down the server once and start again. i did the same process and it is working fine. i don know the reason behind this. if any body can xplain, pleaseeeeee

Restarting the server resolves many problems.....But never take it as a solution....check the possible way you could resolve the issue without restarting the server.

if u r unable to delete the abap dumps try this.
run this report manually RSSNAPDL using sa38 tcode or se38 tcode. and check whether dumps deleting or not .
